Holy eyebrows batman! I need to work on that... Oh don't tease me! I kind of want to shave them off already, so any mocking of their unevenness will only provoke me..... btw the pictures over my shoulder are by Jeremy Adshade, cause Colin and Jeremy share a studio.

And over in the corner is my buddy Mister Colin - I Hart Photos!! Shh I snuck the picture while he was setting up. Shhhh....

And and and! My co-star of the evening - Jasmine. Jasmine has been my kitty since I was 5 years old and I love her with all my heart! She's my best friend and at times been my only friend. She's nearly on her deathbed at the age of 16 (almost 17) but I'm still comforted by the peace in her eyes. We'll likely be putting her to sleep soon as she's loosing her bowel control, her hip stability and the ability to keep down food. We suspect she has hyperthyroidism and that's partially why she's so skeletal, but she's lived a good long life but I can see the pain in her eyes. So I may soon be blogging about how I'm a mess cause she's now gone but at least I will always have the pictures from this shoot.

Meow. Goodnight

As someone who's lost a cat to hyperthyroidism and cancer, I feel for you. As the vet told me - sometimes, the most caring thing you can do is put an animal to sleep. You and I understand pain, and why we're going through it. Our pets don't. Prolonging their suffering borders on cruel. Cherish the love and the pictures.

Yeah, I'm 100% supportive for the humanity behind letting someone/a pet escape their pain.

Jasmine was doing really rough at the start of April, bu she's been doing a bit better in the last couple of weeks. We trimmed a bunch of matts off that had shown up nearly overnight and it seems to of helped her overall disposition. Kind of seems like we only bought some extra time though. *shrugs*
