I would of suggested firstly: be a god damn parent. Don't let you kids by things online unsupervised with your bloody credit card. No wonder he wound up on porn sites if she's not paying attention and gives him access to her credit cards. Holy fuck.

Secondly: By the way if he has piles of gloves in his room, who the hell is buying them? Likely her. How many 13 year old boys have a part time job that can afford 'piles' of gloves. I wasn't allowed a part time job till I was 14. pfft.

Thirdly: It's his issue. If she want's to be a proactive in his sexual eduction, sure put him in sex therapy with someone who's fetish friendly.

His interest in latex gloves is not the problem. There are fundamental parenting based issues that need to be addressed.

While he may of had a deep seeded interest in latex and gloves, the fact that he's gotten so far into it that he's watching pornography screams bad parenting. For shame. 13 14 15, certainly they'll wind up watching pornography at some point but it's up to the parents to - be a parent.

Using my lover as an example, he always knew he loved latex gloves and always loved to play with the yellow rubber gloves in the bath. It was an innocent interest until he reached puberty and got to understand sexuality. And most people like that who have an interest in latex from a really young age who might possibly know it might somehow be sexual in nature, more often that not don't get into it seriously until they've over the high school relationships and can afford to buy it themselves.

In this culture in this age - children have more of a strong sense of entitlement. It's the parents job to let the children know what their entitled too. But if he's of an age where he's working... Go for it. Go make bank and go buy yourself a bed full of latex gloves.

Regarding sex education, it needs to move past the you have a 'vagina' and he has a 'penis' and delve into the 'extras' more. It has always been about the other interests people have, leather, lace, latex, gay or straight. Etc.
