I've had this rubber dress for nearly a year now and I have been waiting to shoot it but nothing has come up. Well, not entirely true; I ordered it for my trip to Detroit Exotica last fall and had intended to wear it with either Perry Gallgher or Dan Lippit (who both rock.) But by the time it arrived I'd already finished up all my shoots for the few days and was in relax mode, so I partied in it but that was about all.
So when Jason asked me to help pull the poster shoot together for his Kinksters masquerade ball, I knew it would be the perfect time to bring it out of hiding. It's a fabulous piece by House of Bias that I scouped up during a sample sale. I really don't know what I'd do to cater to my latex addiction if there weren't things like sample sales.
The event poster was a big of a gong show behind the scenes in the days prior, just getting people who could actually commit to the shoot was rather bothersome. But! In the end it all worked out just fine and an old friend of a friend Amber stepped in to be the bottoming sub. Anyways, these pictures are more just out of the kindness of Colins heart, and we're still norrowing down which two shots should be used for the posters.

I love this dress!!! Your so pretty! and I miss you sooooo much!
Oh Sara! I misses you too! You should really update your blog more often so I can stalk you easier. <3
I'm terribly sorry I couldn't meet up when you were in town this summer, I've been on the road so much the summer hasn't even existed in our household. :( You really need to meet mr.P you'd really like him. He's playing video games and dancing around the house like fool. It's pretty awesome.
You are too cool, missy. Hey...question pour vous. I see your sister has some ballet experience. Is she 18 and would she consider posing for me? For the love of gawd I can't find a professional dancer anywhere!! :-( I have a project I am dying to try but I need a dancer - a good one.
She's been 'retired' for a few years cause of an injory, but I can ask her. She's a bit of a prude, so I doubt that if your idea includes anything less than a ballet esque bodysuit that it wouldn't fly... MiniMe is nearly my polar opposite. -_- Despite my best efforts to try and encourage her otherwise.
But if you let me know more details of the shot you have in mind I could see if she could ask her old ballet friends.
Ah crap. What's wrong with her?? :-) I need a tall dancer with beautiful lines that can leap and such and not be afraid of nudity - obviously. I am wanting to do something with smoke or clouds of baby powder... haven't quite decided yet. It will be a challenge in lighting and getting everything just right so there will be a ton of noodling around to get things right.
She gave up her ballet a few years ago (not by choice) because of some pain in her hips and legs. Lots of testing was done, no definitive answers as to what was causing it. She still occasionally gets the pain but it's no where near as bad as when she was trying to still dance.
I'll ask hayl if anyone she knows might be interested. Or you could always go to the Alberta Ballet Company School location and post a casting. Might have a better chance with some of the older ballerinas.
Ya...I contacted the U of C's dance department and got not a single reply. How rude.
