Needing a new Tax man.

Ideally a crazy older jewish gentleman, beard optional. But a knowledge of loopholes is a must.
So I don't think I've mentioned this here yet, but for the last 6 months I've been plagued with issues related to my taxes.
Now, I'm a good girl and tried to get my taxes done in February. Which actually backfired, because the guy I got was so new he had only just passed his training coarse. Now I hadn't filed my taxes in a few years but knew mine should be pretty straight forward.
Then! I get a letter in the mail from CRA saying I owe ridiculous amounts of back taxes! So after many many phone calls to H&R and CRA, and weeks of waiting I was feeling very alone and helpless. I finally got a call today from CRA and as it turns out the douchebag that filed my taxes at H&R had filed my 2007 on a 2008 form. So it processed as 2008, which means they added the income from 2007 & 2008.. and remember I was on maternity leave for .all. of 2008. Hence the ridiculous back taxes, because neither year on their own is a big deal but added together it puts me in a whole new tax bracket.
So I have to refile my taxes with the people who I don't trust to know their ABCs or go somewhere else and pay... again. But the damage is already done. The actions of this moron has caused me 6 continuous months of grief and the ramifications of this has had my gst cheques cut off & my child tax credit process stalled.
I guess what it boils down to, is the ignorance and incompetence displayed by the gentleman who filed my taxes is simply astronomical. I'm truly flabbergasted.
This process has been completely exhausting and words don't even quite relate how positiely livid I've been through this process and the relief I feel now. I'm gonna go have a smoke in the rain and chill out for a bit before making the rest of the calls I need to.
But seriously. If ANYONE in calgary knows of a really good tax guy I need his name and number for next year. I will never go through H&R Block again.
