The Little Lamp

Today I got the edits from my shoot with Kevin for his little lamp project! Kevin was a lot of fun to shoot with, and we'll be doing more shoots in the near future once he wraps up the little lamp project.

The concept of the project is actually kinda fun, it's however many models (male and female) with this short little lamp he's had since childhood. Only get about a half hour to shoot, and the poses are entirely up to the model in the moment as Kevin doesn't want to interject and thus effect each persons individual vibe. Naturally since I was one of the last models to shoot for this project, a lot of the 'I could see myself doing that pose' had already been shot. So I dug through my right-click-save folder to come up with ideas. We had quite a few shots to choose from, but sadly some were just a touch blurry from the low light and precarious poses. So some of the preplanned poses didn't turn out quite as I had hoped, but such is life. And I'm actually really pleased with some of the shots. This one I'm posting today in particular! I'm going to get it printed for my wall, cause my face isn't visible. Not that I'm worried about being thought a narcissist, but I know that having my tits hanging all over the walls would be slightly uncomfortable for J's friends who come over. haha ;)

Well spring has finally sprung, and we've broken through to + *C temperatures. Which for you yanks means we've had a week where it hasn't been below 40 (during the day, nighttime still sucks). But the ice is melting and I can feel my seasonal disorder lifting as well, which is a huge relief. It's amazing how having a beer on the patio is sooo taken for granted... Well not by me! Every sip of that chilled beverage is heaven as the sun warms my back. mmmm.

And today is J's birthday. So I've got some naughty plans for him this evening, which I'm likely best not to get into detail about. Hint: latex and acting like rockstars. Should be good times, but shhh don't let him know. It's a surprise.
