AM770 - John Baird - Latex?

Today on the radio where my lover works one of the workers was blasting AM770 CHQR and they were talking about the Canadian Politician John Baird who was recently outed.

The radio show was essentially right wing conservatives ripping him to shreds for being conservative and gay. Most of the callers were of the opinion that 'they deserved to know about his sexual persuasion.
But.. that's only indirectly the point of my post.

There was a caller, who likened Baird being gay too having a latex fetish. My mister didn't didn't catch it word for word cause it was across the shop, but the idea of it was 'if instead of being gay, what if this politician had a latex fetish? Would that be as big of an issue?' and the radio host fumbled a bit in saying 'well I don't know'. But the point was 'at what point do we draw the line?' and it was really well received from what he could tell. Because really it's no ones business to know if an individual likes to get dressed in a particular material that they enjoy.

It's obvious this caller knew a certain amount about fetish and latex. They knew not to liken it to bdsm or going to a dominatrix... Cause as history has shown us, the masses seem to react when another person is involved in sex acts like bdsm, homosexual, hookers, cheating, etc. But often times, something like latex fetish or nylon/retro style fetishes aren't seen as .as. taboo of perversions to be into. Really does the fact that the over weight secretary at your work likes to wear girdles and seemed stockings when she goes home... how does that interfere with her secretarial duties in the daylight hours?

I'm trying to find an audio clip from the show, but I'm on a mac and the website with the audio vaults don't work for me. Windows media player doesn't work with mac firefox and flip4mac is giving me issues.

I would love to hear what the caller said word for word, cause I hate passing along speculation. If someone feels particularly inclined to listen to the show and find the clip of the deep voiced man you likens it to latex I'll love you forever and ever...
The show was on around 2:00ish.

Or comment and lets chat about it?

i totally agree, what happens in a person's personal life is of no consequence to how they do a job or if they're qualified. people need to learn how to stfu and get their nose out of their neighbors buisiness.

Mac

What a different world this would be if everyone just quit worrying about what everyone else is doing, thinking, smelling, wearing, reading, eating, screwing, etc.
